Ibrahimovic's assessment of Leicester City is stone cold

Ibrahimovic's assessment of Leicester City is stone cold
After a remarkable Premier League title-winning season, the Foxes won hearts and minds across the globe... but one man is over the hysteria alreadyEveryone fell in love with Leicester City last season with the power of Jamie Vardy, the skill of Riyad Mahrez, the guile of N'Golo Kante and the leadership of Wes Morgan.

A well-regaled fight against all the odds, led by the Disney-esque likeability of Claudio Ranieri, won hearts and minds across the globe; from America to Thailand, from Australia and Timbuktu.

Talk of another title challenge, taking Europe's biggest and best by surprise in the Champions League, and generally continuing English football's most remarkable fairytale beyond the 2015-16 season continues to swirl. But not everyone is convinced. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has dismissed Leicester fans' hopes and dreams with a one-syllable retort-cum-exhale when asked whether he would be interested in joining them.

"Pah, Leicester had their time," he replied to said suggestion by The Guardian. "Will it happen again? It is not easy."

You may as well not turn up next season, Leicester. Zlatan has had his say.
